Puppy
Pictures
Here it is March 1st, 2009.  Wow, time gets on by!  Tina and I have Spirit and
Gypsy in puppy classes to learn some manners, and as our own education we
will use as we learn to be trainers ourselves.  It has dawned on us
just how
important it is to teach manners and socialization early in a puppy's
development.  We never realized that importance before operating
Beechwood Trails, where we have seen literally hundreds of dogs - to be more
exact, just shy of 1,000 dogs as of February this year, during the almost two
years since we opened.

Our good friend, Anne Hudson, who owns the best puppy training school IN the
world,
FunPups, in Peachtree City, is helping Tina and I learn dog training.
Anne works with all age dogs, but specifically concentrates on puppies,
because puppies are simple and fun to train in the early months.  And because
you took the time to train them early, you'll have a great dog you can take
anywhere without having to worry about how they will behave.  A well trained
puppy will grow into a rock solid adult dog that you will enjoy for its lifetime.

Now tell me, you've owned dogs who have driven you absolutely crazy over the
years, haven't you?  I know we have...which brings to mind CORKY, our
greyhound we adopted as a nine week old puppy from a racing kennel.  You
can see Corky on our About US page, as well as shots of her playing with Lita
on Lita's picture page in this site.  Corky is now four years old and is as wild
today as she was as a young puppy.  And, no, Corky never had any manners
training, and, boy, it shows!

Anyway, once we feel confident in our ability to train, we will offer puppy
classes here at Beechwood Trails to help you get a jump start on raising the
best dog of your life.

I'm posting a few pictures I've taken, and some that have been e-mailed to me
by our friends, Onida's and Cara's owners.

In fact, you can follow this link to see videos Tim has taken of
Onida.
